Ryan and Nicole married on a beautiful but crisp Saturday in January. Their day was a big family event with friends and family coming from all different parts of the world. Their guests flew in from Africa, all over Canada, and Fiji. Ryan and Nicole are both a little older, and their friends had been waiting for a while for them to get married – but everyone was so excited it was finally happening because they knew the two were meant for each other.

The groom loves humor and is a big goof while the bride is easy-going and she completely glowed. Nicole looked like she was made for her day. There were lots of jokes and good-humored fun during the reception. It was super windy, and everyone’s hair kept blowing in their faces. The flowers were literally breaking off the stems of their bouquets in the wind. Everyone was cold but couldn’t help but smile the whole time.

A big highlight for us was their photography and videography shoot. Although the weather could have been seen as difficult, Ryan, Nicole, and their bridal party rolled with it. It was incredibly windy, blowing everyone’s hair in their faces and literally breaking the flowers from the bouquets off their stems. Ryan and Nicole kept holding each other close for warmth – which made for beautiful shots. Everyone was freezing but they couldn’t help but smile the entire time.
